This was what we feared the most in the past few days when the so called truce would come so close to its expiration time at 7 am Gaza time

Every morning for the past few days everyone would hold their breath as the clock approached 7 am, only for the truce to be renewed 10 or 15 minutes before the deadline, and that’s when people went back to stand in line for gas and food

Today, however, was the worst case scenario we all feared and the clock kept ticking towards 7 am - and no announcement was made that Gaza can have at least one extra night’s sleep

We all heard Israeli scum officials say that they intend to go back in full force. 7:01 Israel’s shelling starts hailing down and 6 people are already killed within the first hour.

Absolutely sickening and heartbreaking. Keep advocating for Palestine please, this is nowhere near over.

The “truce” had ended as of 20 minutes ago. This means the Israeli warplanes will be back to bombing all parts of Gaza and god know what the next few days will look like

Just a reminder though that Israel never abided by the “ceasefire”, and had in fact been shooting at Palestinians who were trying to make their way back to their homes in northern Gaza

Just wanted to remind everybody that today is the last day of the “humanitarian pause” in gaza. Starting from tomorrow Tuesday 7:00am, Israel will go back to carpet bombing gaza.

We need a permanent ceasefire. Keep speaking up!

Update: the pause has been extended for two more days. This is good but not enough. We still need a permanent ceasefire. Keep speaking and advocating for a free Palestine 🇵🇸

here’s your reminder that israel has indeed violated the truce. their warplanes have entered the sky space of gaza (reported by hind khoudary & muhammad smiry)

and oppressive forces have also shot at a palestinian man and left him to bleed. then opened fire on anyone who approached the man to help (reported by motaz). there are also testimonies from palestinians that the israeli forces themselves encouraged the people to go help the injured man and then opened fire at them (motaz).

israeli forces have also blocked the entrance of a hospital in jenin, and have killed 3 people and injured 6 others in an open fire during their raid of jenin in the west bank (QudsNews)

meanwhile, israeli hostages that have been released had been forbidden from giving interviews (QudsNews) and there have since been reports that the hostages confirmed they were treated humanely and were not assaulted (source 1, source 2, more healthy israeli hostages)

this ceasefire truly didn’t mean anything. and israel and palestinian resistance clearly do not operate on the same field nor with a balance in power. even during a “truce” they are still oppressing victims.

keep speaking up. contact your reps. protest. boycott following bds guidelines. publicly condemn israel. start conversations and raise awareness. educate yourself and educate others. listen to palestinian voices.

amplify palestinian voices.
